We are seeking a skilled Pathology Coder with 2-5 years of experience to join our medical coding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding pathology reports, ensuring compliance with coding regulations, and maintaining the integrity of our coding processes.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyze pathology reports to assign appropriate medical codes
- Utilize coding software and reference materials to ensure accurate coding
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed
- Ensure compliance with all coding regulations and policies
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve coding skills




- Assist in audits and coding reviews to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

- CPC (Certified Qualified Coder) certification
- Strong knowledge of pathology coding guidelines
- Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy in coding
- Ability to analyze complex medical terminology and documentation
- Proficient in using medical coding software and tools
