Associate / Technical Lead, Software Development

KLA is seeking a passionate Associate / Technical Lead, Software Development to define, design, and develop software architecture for the semiconductor industry. This role is crucial for a professional who will translate customer requirements into usable applications, drive the development of smarter wafer defect inspection tools, and continuously improve system performance.

Responsibilities

- Define, design, and develop software architecture to implement user requirements for the semiconductor industry.
- Analyze requirements and ensure the systematic conversion of customer/program requirements into a usable application or system.
- Develop smarter wafer defect inspection tools or systems that help manufacture high-performance chips.
- Break the overall software application architecture down into smaller subsystems and allocate requirements accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to applicable standards that govern the software development process, entailing proper design, development, integration, testing, and modification of software.




- Identify software solutions and improve system performance that drive progress.
- Assimilate software design concepts and translate them into defined software requirements.
- Apply advanced software development knowledge to current generation products and in next generation applications.
