The role involves evaluating firewall change requests, network security risks, and connectivity requirements while ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities Perform firewall rule reviews and firewall governance activities.



Assess network connectivity requests and evaluate associated security risks. Review source and destination IPs, ports, protocols, services, NAT requirements, and business justifications. Conduct impact analysis and security assessments for firewall changes. Ensure adherence to the Principle of Least Privilege and network security best practices. Analyze and validate end-to-end network traffic flows. Review and support LAN, WAN, DMZ, Internet, Cloud, and hybrid network connectivity requests.
