Experience/ Qualifications * 3-6 years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator experience in SQL Server 2008R2/ 2008/ 2012/ 2014/ 2016. * Sound knowledge on * System Administration * Disaster Recovery * Microsoft SQL with queries * Log Shipping * Configuring Clustering / Mirroring / HA (High Availability) * Trouble Shooting with SQL and Event viewer logs * Security Administration (local accounts & active directory) * Database instance configuration / backup / migration * Understanding of Database Designing, Architecture and Performance Optimization * Expertise in * upgrading SQL server software to current versions * applying service packs and security patches * creating/ maintaining network file shares & file permissions * Exposure to basic PL/SQL writing to query data from any database.



Responsibilities * Installation of SQL Server 2005/ 2008/ 2008R2/ 2012/ 2014/ 2016/ 2017 on x64-bit Operating System • Migrating data from one version of SQL Server to another like from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2012 and from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2014/2016 * Proficient in SQL Management Studio, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, Rescheduling jobs with SQL Server * Creating Database Maintenance plans, rebuild/ reorganize indexes & performing integrity checks * Highly proficient in Database Backups, Recovery, Restore, Linked Servers * Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery like Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring and Clustering * Worked on Server performance debugging (event log, request monitoring) * Strong interpersonal and articulation skills both spoken and written
