nOur client, a leading global consulting and professional services organisation, is seeking experienced P&C; Actuaries to join its growing actuarial practice. This is an excellent prospect to work on complex actuarial engagements across the insurance sector, supporting leading insurers on regulatory transformation, financial reporting, pricing, reserving, and capital modelling initiatives.
nThe role offers exposure to large-scale transformation programmes, cross-functional collaboration, and the latest actuarial modelling technologies.
nKey Responsibilities
nIFRS 17
n
- n
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of IFRS 17 reporting frameworks.n
- Perform actuarial calculations including fulfilment cash flows, risk adjustment, and Contractual Service Margin (CSM).n
- Assist with quarterly and annual IFRS 17 reporting and disclosures.n




- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and technology teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.n
- Contribute to the automation and optimisation of IFRS 17 processes and actuarial models.n

nReserving

- n
- Perform reserve analyses across multiple Property & Casualty insurance portfolios.n
- Apply recognised actuarial reserving techniques, including Chain Ladder, Bornhuetter-Ferguson, Expected Loss Ratio, and stochastic methods.n
- Analyse reserve adequacy, trends, and uncertainty.n
- Prepare actuarial reports supporting management and regulatory requirements.n

- Develop, review, and enhance pricing models for commercial and personal lines of business.n
- Analyse claims experience, exposure, frequency, and severity trends.n
- Support portfolio profitability analysis and pricing strategy.n
- Provide actuarial insights to underwriting and product teams.n
