Position: Chemical Engineer,
Degree: B.E - Chemical Engineering,
Location : Chennai,
Chemical Engineer – Quality | Fabrication, Heavy Fabrication & Painting
Fabrication & Welding Quality – Inspect fabrication and welding activities against approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, WPS/PQR, and applicable codes/standards; monitor fit-up, welding, and NDT activities.
Material & Dimensional Inspection – Verify incoming materials, MTCs, material traceability, dimensions, tolerances, and stage-wise inspection of fabricated components.
Painting & Coating Quality – Monitor surface preparation, abrasive blasting, surface profile, environmental conditions, primer/intermediate/topcoat application, DFT measurement, adhesion tests,



and final coating inspection as per project specifications.
QA/QC Documentation & NCR Control – Prepare inspection reports, checklists, test records, painting reports, punch lists, NCRs, and quality dossiers; ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Coordination & Continuous Improvement – Coordinate with production, engineering, client, and third-party inspectors; identify quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve fabrication and painting quality.

Salary range: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month
