Role Description The Junior Placement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at the Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology campus in Thanjavur. The role involves coordinating campus placement activities, including scheduling recruitment drives, liaising with employers, and maintaining placement records. The Junior Placement Officer supports students with career counseling, resume preparation,



interview readiness, and soft skills development, while organizing training sessions and workshops to enhance employability. The role requires regular interaction with academic departments, industry partners, and students to ensure effective communication and alignment with placement goals. The Junior Placement Officer also contributes to outreach efforts, employer engagement, and continuous improvement of placement processes.
