Qualifications

Essential:
(1) Ph.D. (preferably in discipline of Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Electronics & Communication, and Information Technology) with a robust research background.
(2) Minimum 20 years of teaching / research / administrative experience out of which 5 years as Professor / equivalent pay level in well reputed (preferable in a NAAC "A" or above grade) institution.

Desirable:
(1) Proven record of research publications, patents, funded projects, and innovation initiatives.
(2) Experience in research leadership, grants management, and industry linkages.

Responsibilities

Formulate and implement policies to strengthen research and innovation at the University.




Promote interdisciplinary and translational research aligned with national and global priorities.
Establish and manage research centers, incubation hubs, and technology transfer cells.
Facilitate faculty and student research projects, patents, publications, and consultancy work.
Build collaborations with industries, funding agencies, and international partners.
Ensure compliance with research ethics, grants management, and reporting requirements.
Represent the University at national and international research forums.
