About Kalaakaari
Kalaakaari is a Delhi-based creative studio built at the intersection of original IP, production, and brand storytelling, think AIB meets TVF meets Ogilvy. We operate across nine verticals, from Creative Agency and Production House to Venture Studio and IP Studio, working with brands like HUL, Swiggy, BlueDart, Paytm Money, Samsung, and Alibaba. We're scaling quick and looking for a Business Development Manager who can open doors, build pipeline, and close deals across our agency and production verticals.
The Role
As BD Manager, you will own the top of the funnel for Kalaakaari's client business, identifying opportunities, building relationships with marketing decision-makers, and converting conversations into signed mandates. You'll work closely with the Founder's Office and Creative teams to shape pitches that win.
What You'll Do
Identify and prioritize target brands/clients across categories (D2C, BFSI, FMCG, hospitality, F&B;, etc.)
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of leads through outbound outreach, referrals,



and inbound inquiries
Own the full sales cycle: first contact, discovery calls, proposal coordination, negotiation, and closing
Collaborate with the Creative and Production teams to shape pitch decks and scopes that are sharp, not generic
Represent Kalaakaari at industry events, meetups, and brand marketing forums
Maintain a clean CRM/tracker of leads, pitches, and deal stages
Report weekly on pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue forecast
Support fundraise-adjacent conversations and partnership opportunities where relevant
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or sales, agency/media/production background strongly preferred
Proven track record of closing deals with brand marketing teams
Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable pitching to CMOs, brand managers, and founders
Ability to translate a creative idea into a commerc
