Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor position in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) located at Bearys Institute of Technology in Mangaluru. The role involves delivering undergraduate courses in CSE, preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, and conducting classroom and laboratory sessions. The Assistant Professor will assess student performance, provide academic guidance, and supervise projects and internships.



Responsibilities also include engaging in research or scholarly activities, contributing to curriculum development, participating in departmental and institutional committees, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes. The role may involve coordinating co-curricular activities, organizing seminars or workshops, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in CSE.
Qualifications

Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university; Ph.D. in CSE or related discipline is preferred.
Strong foundation in core CSE areas such as data structures and algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and programming languages.
Ability to design and deliver clear, engaging lectures and lab sessions, with demonstrated skills in classroom management and student mentoring.
