Role Overview

The Founder’s Office is the engine room of TerraTern. In this role, you’ll work directly with the founding team to lead and scale our marketing function—owning strategy, planning, and execution across brand, demand generation, content, and performance marketing. You will operate as a strategic extension of the founders—bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to quick-moving growth priorities.

This is a high-ownership, strategy-first role for someone who has previously headed or scaled marketing in a startup, thrives in ambiguity, and can translate vision into executable, measurable plans.

Key Responsibilities





Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Define the multi-year marketing vision and annual strategic plan aligned to company OKRs and GTM priorities.
Own market segmentation, positioning, and messaging strategy for key customer cohorts and geographies.
Design the overall growth architecture: channel mix, budget allocation, and investment thesis across brand vs performance.
Set and govern marketing KPIs and guardrails (CAC, LTV, ROAS, payback, funnel efficiency).

Demand Generation & Growth

Lead deep-dive market and competitive intelligence to inform product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions.
Build strategic frameworks and business cases for new markets, products, and experiments.
Advise founders on trade-offs, prioritisation, and resource allocation across growth initiatives.

Brand, Content & Communications

Shape brand positioning, messaging, and narrative for B2C and key stakeholder groups.
