About the Role
Conduct laboratory, pilot scale and industrial trials to evaluate ingredient functionality and ensure successful scale-up to commercial production.

Responsibilities
Develop, optimize and innovate formulations for bakery products including breads, buns, cakes, muffins, cookies, biscuits, brownies,



bakery premixes and other baked products. Design and optimize formulations using hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, enzymes, starches, fibres and other functional ingredients to achieve desired quality, shelf life, texture, processing efficiency and cost optimization.
Provide technical support to customers by troubleshooting product and process challenges, conducting plant trials and assisting in commercialization.
Collaborate closely with the sales, procurement, quality and production teams to understand customer requirements and deliver commercially viable application solutions.
Evaluate new raw materials and supplier ingredients, perform benchmarking of market products, and identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
Prepare technical documentation including formulations, product specifications, trial reports, application reports and customer presentations.
