We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing processes, hands-on experience in automation frameworks, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive test suites using a variety of testing tools, including Cucumber for behavior-driven development and Detox for testing React Native applications, to validate software functionality and user experience.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Create and maintain automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
Perform API testing, UI testing, and integration testing using automation tools.
Regularly update and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Continuously enhance testing methodologies and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
Proficient in JavaScript, with a strong understanding of its ecosystems and frameworks, particularly for writing test automation scripts.
Experience using testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and Detox to ensure the robustness and reliability of software solutions.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
