Role Description The Continental Executive Sous Chef is a full time, on-site role based at Orchha Palace and Resorts in Orchha. This role supports the Executive Chef in overseeing all continental kitchen operations, including menu planning, recipe development, and daily food preparation. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring consistent food quality and presentation, monitoring inventory and food costs, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.



The Continental Executive Sous Chef collaborates with the culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences, trains and mentors junior chefs, and helps implement new dishes and seasonal menus. The role also involves coordinating with purchasing, managing kitchen schedules, and assisting in special events and banquets as needed.
Qualifications
Strong continental cuisine expertise, including menu development, recipe creation, and high-volume food preparation.
Leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising kitchen staff and training junior chefs.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control.
Ability to maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion control in a luxury hospitality environment.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with culinary, service, and management teams.
