Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Analyst to spearhead the design, development, and optimization of back-end operations for our growing e-commerce marketplace operation. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable systems and features. Your analytical mindset, e-commerce experience, and process orientation will play a crucial role in building a seamless operational backbone for our marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze current business processes across the marketplace back-end (order flow, inventory management, WMS, customer service, etc., translating them into effective IT solutions.
Define and document detailed business requirements, user stories, process flows, and system interactions
Work closely with developers to design scalable backend systems including seller management, fulfillment workflows, payment/Data processing, and returns handling




Translate complex business logic into functional and technical specifications
Act as a liaison between business teams and the tech team to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in back-office operations
Perform gap analysis and propose system or process improvements
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), troubleshoot issues, and ensure implementation matches expectations
Track KPIs and operational metrics to guide continuous improvement

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an e-commerce or marketplace setting or similar
Strong understanding of marketplace platforms and backend e-commerce operations (order management, inventory systems, Financial, seller portals, etc.)
Experience working in agile/scrum environments
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, Figma, o
