About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated investment skilled to join our Structured Credit team. The role involves advising borrowers on bespoke financing solutions and executing private credit transactions across sectors. The successful candidate should possess strong credit appraisal and underwriting skills, financial modelling capabilities, transaction execution experience and the ability to independently manage live mandates from origination through financial close.
Credit Underwriting and Investment Analysis:
The candidate should have prior experience in preparing detailed investment memorandums and credit appraisal notes for internal and external investors. The credit assessment would invariably cover business model analysis, industry and competitive assessment, management and promoter evaluation, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, security and collateral analysis, covenant structuring, downside risk assessment, account monitoring and exit strategies evaluation.
The candidate should also have expertise in preparation and auditing of financial models, term sheet preparation and negotiation. Prior knowledge of legal and statutory documentation, recovery process, NCLT framework will be an added advantage.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Preferably MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant or CFA.
Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in one or more of private credit/ investment banking/ structured finance/ credit underwriting/ alternative investments.
Technical Skills: Advanced financial modelling, power point presentation skills, AI tools.
Behavioural Skills: Strong commercial mindset, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under tight timelines.
