About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst (BA/BSA) will be responsible for bridging the gap between business/clinical stakeholders and technical teams by understanding clinical workflows, analyzing business requirements, and translating them into effective EHR system configurations and functional solutions.
The role involves hands-on EHR application configuration, Tier 3 production support, workflow and form customization, issue resolution, and enhancement management. The candidate will work closely with business users, clinical teams, product owners, technical teams, and the Lightning Step vendor/team to ensure the application supports business and clinical needs effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze and document business and clinical requirements and translate them into functional and system solutions.
Work closely with business stakeholders, clinical teams, product owners, and technical teams to understand workflows and identify system improvements.
Perform EHR system configuration, including forms, workflows, fields, rules,



and other application customizations.
Provide Tier 3 application support, including troubleshooting, issue analysis, root-cause identification, and resolution of production issues.
Understand and support clinical workflows such as patient intake, assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge.
Manage configuration requests, enhancements, production issues, and support activities from requirement gathering through implementation and closure.
Coordinate with the Lightning Step team/vendor for application-related issues, enhancements, configuration requirements, and technical support.
Validate system changes to ensure they meet business requirements, clinical workflows, compliance standards, and application best practices.
Prepare functional documentation, configuration details, process flows, and other relevant project/support documentation.
