Role Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with solid expertise in Playwright Java and Selenium Java automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications while ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright Java and Selenium Java.
Create and enhance automation frameworks following best practices.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensure automation coverage and maintain test execution reports.
Required Skills
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in Playwright with Java.
Good hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
Strong understanding of Automation Testing concepts and frameworks.
Experience with TestNG/JUnit.
Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.
Good to Have
API Testing using REST Assured/Postman.
CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Exposure to cloud-based test environments.
Performance and security testing exposure.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
