Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and creative Assistant Director to support the Director in planning, coordinating, and executing commercials, branded content, digital campaigns, corporate films, and social media productions. The ideal candidate should excel in production planning, crew coordination, script breakdowns, scheduling, and ensuring smooth execution from pre-production to post-production.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production
Assist the Director in interpreting scripts and creative concepts.
Prepare script breakdowns, shot lists, mood boards, and production notes.
Coordinate recce (location scouting) and manage production logistics.
Prepare call sheets, production schedules, and daily shooting plans.
Coordinate with clients, creative teams, producers, and vendors.
Assist in casting, auditions, and talent coordination.
Ensure all required permits and approvals are arranged before shoots.
Production
Ensure smooth on-set execution according to the shooting schedule.
Coordinate with DOP, Production Manager, Art Department, Stylists, and other crew members.
Track shot completion and maintain continuity.
Assist the Director in managing actors, presenters, and crew.
Handle time management to ensure shoots are completed efficiently.
Troubleshoot production issues and communicate solutions quickly.
Post-Production
Coordinate with editors, motion graphic artists, sound designers, and colorists.
Review edits against the approved storyboard and script.
Ensure timely delivery of revisions and final outputs.
Maintain project documentation and production archives.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of commercial filmmaking and digital content production.
Excellent script interpretation and visual storytelling skills.
Knowledge of production workflows and set
