Job Purpose: A CFT Operator performs specialized protective service duties
involving every phase of aircraft crash, fire, and rescue operations, as well as
structural firefighting. The role includes operating all related equipment
during assigned shifts and maintaining a high level of readiness for emergency
response.CFT Officers undergo intensive training to develop thorough expertise
in crash‑fire‑rescue procedures, including detailed knowledge of escape and
rescue systems integrated into firefighting vehicles. They are responsible for
mastering all crash‑fire‑rescue equipment and ensuring they can apply the
correct techniques during emergency missions.
