Academic Trainer – Science
Job Responsibilities
 Deliver structured and engaging training sessions and presentations for teachers, principals,
and academic trainers through online and in-person formats.
 Conduct lectures and hands-on training in assigned science subjects using activity-based and
experiential learning methods.
 Design, develop, update, and maintain curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and training
materials.
 Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students on subject concepts, projects, and
career pathways.
 Conduct assessments, evaluate learner performance, and provide timely, constructive
feedback.
 Integrate contemporary teaching tools, digital platforms, and educational technologies into
classroom practices.
 Plan and facilitate workshops, seminars, certification programs, and professional
development sessions.
 Collaborate with faculty members, industry experts, and academic committees to enhance
curriculum quality.
 Create and curate digital learning content,



including presentations, coding exercises,
simulations, and tutorials.
 Support student and faculty participation in academic projects and research initiatives.
 Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and academic documentation in
compliance with institutional policies.
Qualifications & Preferred Candidate Skills
 Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related discipline.
 Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching, training, or academic facilitation in Science
subjects.
 Strong subject-matter knowledge and understanding of school-level or higher secondary
science curriculum.
 Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
 Solid presentation, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
 Ability to engage, motivate, and mentor diverse groups of learners.
