Position Summary
This role will assume full accountability for operations at Bobst India’s BIN2 Plant (BIN2A & BIN2B), ensuring On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery of high-quality products at optimal cost. As a senior leader, the role requires driving operational excellence, delivery performance, safety and cost while empowering teams and fostering a customer-centric culture. The candidate will oversee a cross-functional team professionals across Assembly, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Planning, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Safety and Quality. This role requires solid leadership, accountability, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing Operations
Lead end-to-end plant operations to ensure timely, cost-efficient, and high-quality production.
Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives and production targets.
Optimize workflows, maximize resource utilization, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Ensure proper maintenance and reliability of equipment and facilities.
Track performance metrics, identify gaps,
and implement corrective actions.
2. Quality Management
Establish and sustain a robust quality management system.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and minimize defects and customer complaints.
Ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
3. Safety Management
Provide a safe and healthy workplace through effective safety systems and protocols.
Conduct audits and risk assessments to proactively mitigate hazards.
Foster a strong safety culture and employee engagement in HSE programs.
Ensure adherence to local and national safety regulations in the plant.
4. Product Development
Partner with R&D; to drive new product introductions.
Integrate new products seamlessly into manufacturing processes.
Enhance product designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Lead cross-functional teams in product launch execution.
