As Brigadier Defence Academy prepares for the launch of our Lucknow centre, we are looking for a passionate Science Faculty member who understands the academic requirements of defence competitive examinations.
? Who are we looking for?
We need a faculty member who can confidently handle Science for both NDA and CDS students and understands that the preparation requirements for the two examinations are different.
The candidate should have:
Strong command over Physics, particularly from an NDA examination perspective
Strong understanding of Biology / General Science relevant to the CDS examination
Working knowledge of Chemistry and other Science topics covered in these examinations
Familiarity with the NDA & CDS Science syllabus
Valuable understanding of Previous Year Questions (PYQs) and recurring question patterns of NDA & CDS
Ability to identify high-frequency and high-return topics based on PYQ trends
Ability to balance conceptual clarity with examination-oriented preparation
Confidence in handling students preparing for different defence examinations within the same academic ecosystem
? We don't want Science to be taught like a school subject.
Our objective is to prepare students for a competitive examination.
The faculty member should be able to help students understand:
What to study → How much to study → What UPSC repeatedly asks → How concepts are converted into questions → How to approach those questions in the examination
Classes should therefore integrate:
Concepts + PYQs + Practice Questions + Tests + Analysis
? Comfortable with Digital Teaching
Our classrooms are technology-enabled.
The faculty member should be:
Comfortable teaching on SmartBoards
Comfortable preparing lessons and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
Familiar with Canva for presentations and
