Job Role: Workday Technical Specialist – HCM & Integrations

Key Responsibilities
Workday Integrations
Develop, maintain, and support integrations between Workday and third-party systems including Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), SAP, Payroll, and other applications.
Strong hands-on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, XML/XSLT, and Workday Orchestrate.
Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot failures, and resolve technical issues.
Maintain integration documentation and inventory.
Security & Tenant Management
Manage integration security, API credentials, integration users, and technical security configurations.
Support domain security policies and technical dependencies related to Workday security.
Manage Production, Sandbox, and Implementation tenants, including tenant refreshes and testing environments.
Release & Testing




Analyze Workday biannual releases for integration and technical impact.
Perform integration testing, regression testing, and support UAT activities.
Coordinate technical changes with HR Functional teams and IT stakeholders.
Reporting & Data
Support technically complex Workday reports, calculated fields, and data requirements.
Ensure data integrity and support data quality initiatives.
Assist with data migration, extraction, mapping, loading, and validation.
Current Module Implementations
Provide technical support for Talent Optimization and Learning implementations.
Design and develop integrations for new Workday modules.
Participate in technical design workshops and solution reviews.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Act as the technical point of contact for Workday and third-party vendors.
Coordinate technical escalations with Workday Support.
Work closely with HR, Infrastructure, Security, Identity Management, and other IT teams.
