About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Linux & Desktop Support Engineer to manage day-to-day IT
operations, provide end-user support, and maintain company IT infrastructure, systems,
networking, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide desktop/laptop support for Windows, Linux & macOS, including OS installation,
configuration, upgrades, drivers, BIOS/firmware, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, printers, peripherals, VPN, and
connectivity issues.
• Install and configure business/project-specific applications, tools, packages, dependencies,
and development environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux systems, including package management,
users/permissions, SSH, systemctl, services, logs, storage, processes, CLI, cron, and
firewalls.
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, routing,
and basic firewall configuration.
• Handle IT asset/inventory management,



including allocation, tracking, warranty, repairs,
replacements, licenses, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Active Directory/Entra ID, endpoint
security, antivirus, patching, and access management.
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and service providers for IT infrastructure, hardware,
software, and network issues.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Take ownership of IT support requests from identification through resolution.

Required Skills
• 1–3 years of experience in IT/Desktop Support, IT Administration, or IT Infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows & Linux and Linux troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of networking, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with IT asset management and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.
