About the Role
Applix is looking for an experienced Senior Windows Server Administrator to join our team full-time and work on-site at a client location in Bangalore, five days per week.

This is a hands-on L3 infrastructure role supporting enterprise-grade Windows environments across global operations. You will be responsible for Windows Server administration, Active Directory, virtualization, high availability, infrastructure troubleshooting, data center operations, and automation.

The ideal candidate has operated large production environments and is comfortable troubleshooting issues across the operating system, virtualization, storage, networking, and physical infrastructure layers.

What You'll Do
Windows Server & Infrastructure
Administer and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and later across distributed enterprise environments.
Manage Windows Server roles, features, system services, and file/print services.
Perform server provisioning,



patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management across physical and virtual infrastructure.
Manage RDP and remote server administration.
Active Directory & Identity
Administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
Manage users, groups, Organizational Units (OUs), and delegation models.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Manage NTFS and share permissions and maintain appropriate access controls.
Core Infrastructure Services
Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, NTP, and Certificate Services.
Troubleshoot Windows services, registry configurations, scheduled tasks, and local security policies.
Perform advanced troubleshooting using Event Viewer, system logs, and diagnostic tools.
Virtualization & Data Center Operations
Administer VMware and enterprise virtualization environments.
Provision, clone, configure, and manage virtual machines.
