Role Description
This is a full-time, in office role for a Application Firmware Engineer based in Chennai. The role includes developing and testing firmware for IoT devices, ensuring smooth integration with hardware components, troubleshooting and debugging systems, and providing support for field installations. The candidate will closely collaborate with both software, hardware and other engineering teams to develop robust IoT solutions and assist in successfully deploying and maintaining devices in client locations.





Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with minimum 3+ years of experience.
Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and travel to field locations as needed.
Providing technical support to customers.
Proficiency in Embedded Software development on ARM architecture.
Experience in application development and wireless stack integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test, application firmware and wireless stacks (BLE, WIFI, UWB, LoRa).
Review hardware schematics and pinout definitions.
Perform board bring-up activities, low-level debugging and root-cause analysis.
Work with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) as well as bare-metal environments.
Knowledge on firmware performance, memory footprint, and power consumption optimizatio
