Job Description

Our design program here at Sense is growing, and we are looking to hire a full time Product Design Specialist to own and evolve the UI & UX across all of our current and future products. We are looking for a creative and pragmatic designer—someone who will help us find solutions to user pain points we didn't know we needed to solve. This is a unique opportunity to help build the product design team from the ground up. Working closely with the rest of the org to figure out how to best solve our user's problems.

Our product designers create complex wireframes, which they then turn into pixel-perfect, development-ready visuals.

Our mission is to improve the daily lives of recruiters at staffing firms. The biggest challenge to working at Sense is that our platform is complex. In order to schedule, organize, and augment recruiters daily work through automation means that our systems IA can get very challenging, very quickly. But it also needs to feel easy and fun to use

You’ll be part of rotating project teams from the beginning until launch,



working side by side with a PM, and the engineering team.

Qualifications

What are you expected to bring?

Accomplished designer with 3-6 years of overall experience in digital product design, translating complex design problems into intuitive and impactful solutions
Ownership of end-to-end UX process starting from design brief, information architecture, user flow model, wireframes, and high-fidelity design
Adept at user-centered design with strong knowledge of contemporary user interface design patterns and best practices
Strong conceptual and analytical skills to craft UI solutions with a high attention to detail
Deep understanding of usability and accessibility standards
Experience working in an agile environment delivering software to production working with front-end development teams
A robust sense of time management, deadlines, and the ability to adapt to diverse challenges and competing priorities
