Role Description: The Mid-Level 3D Modelling Artist (Maya) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangalore Urban. The artist will create high-quality 3D character and environment models in Maya aligned with the studio’s visual style and technical requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include modelling, texturing, and preparing assets for rigging and animation, as well as collaborating closely with concept artists, animators,



and lighting teams. The role involves optimising models for performance, maintaining consistency across projects, and adhering to established production pipelines and deadlines. The artist will also participate in reviews, implement feedback, and help maintain asset libraries and documentation.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in 3D Modeling in Maya, with solid experience creating stylised characters and environments.
- Hands-on experience with Texturing and Lighting for animated content, ensuring visually appealing and consistent assets.
- Practical knowledge of Rigging fundamentals to prepare models for animation workflows.
- Optionally leverage AI generation tools (such as Midjourney, Reliable Diffusion, or 3D mesh generators) to assist in rapid concepting, base texturing, or asset iteration.
- Familiarity with Blender or other 3D tools as a complementary skill is an advantage.
