Role Overview

The CFO will act as a close strategic partner to the CEO and Board, serving as the financial architect for Matrimony.Com’s next phase of expansion. The role balances three strategic priorities: compounding the profitable core, executing high-yield capital allocation (including M&A; and new ventures), and driving proactive investor relations.

Because this is explicitly a Growth CFO mandate rather than a traditional compliance/stewardship role, the incumbent will bring an operator and investor mindset to deploy surplus balance sheet capacity, evaluate unit economics of incubated verticals, optimize cash productivity, and build long-term enterprise value.

Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy & Capital Allocation: Drive capital deployment by setting return targets, funding new projects in stages, and reviewing performance across the core business, new bets, and acquisitions.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;): Lead the end-to-end M&A; pipeline—target evaluation, deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, execution,



and post-merger integration to acquire capabilities, new user pools, or adjacent platforms.
- Funding Strategy & Capital Markets: Optimize balance sheet productivity;
evaluate capital options (internal accruals, strategic capital, equity, debt) to fund new initiatives without compromising financial resilience.
- Investor Relations & Roadshows: Sharpen and communicate the equity story to institutional investors, PE/VC funds, and analysts through roadshows, earnings calls, and transparent capital-market outreach.
- Innovation & Incubation Governance: Partner with business heads of ManyJobs, Mandap & Wed-Assist, Luv.Com, and other current verticals;
establish unit economics, stage-gate funding, KPI dashboards, and ROI accountability.
- Financial Planning & Decision Support: Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario modelling. Provide data-driven analytics covering cohort economics, customer acquisition costs (C
