Facility Manager
Position Overview
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operations, maintenance, and safety of building systems, infrastructure, and soft services. This role requires a strong technical background combined with expertise in managing integrated facility services to ensure optimal facility performance, occupant satisfaction, and a secure, efficient, compliant work environment. The position encompasses both hard services (building systems) and soft services (workplace support services)
while establishing robust governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations & Maintenance
Oversee all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems (BMS/BAS). Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime. Diagnose technical issues and coordinate repairs with internal teams or external vendors. Monitor energy consumption and implement efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs. Maintain accurate documentation of all building systems, equipment specifications, and maintenance records.
Soft Services Management
Manage integrated workplace services including janitorial, security, catering, reception, mail room, and hospitality services. Oversee landscaping, pest control, waste management, and environmental services. Coordinate employee amenities such as
