Diesel / Forklift Mechanic
Job Location: Fiji
Employment Contract: 3 Years
Working Hours: 48 Hours per Week
Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Forklift Mechanic with strong hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and forklifts. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and overhauls of diesel and other equipment systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on trucks and forklifts.
Conduct routine inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
Change fluids, replace worn parts and lubricate moving components.
Diagnose electrical systems, engines, hydraulic pumps and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot diesel, gas and LP engine-related issues.
Use diagnostic software and technical manuals for system troubleshooting.
Repair and replace brakes, masts, transmissions, steering components and attachments.




Carry out repairs and overhauls to maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
Ensure trucks and forklifts meet applicable safety standards before being released for operation.
Maintain proper maintenance and repair records.

Requirements
Education: ITI/ Diploma
Age: 26 to 45 years.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Diesel/ Forklift Mechanic.
Experience in truck and forklift mechanical maintenance.
Robust knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
Driving Licence: Group 6 and 9.
Languages: Hindi and English.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
