Job Purpose & Scope

• The role of the Factory Controller is to be trusted partner for the management team of the
Factory operations department. The role involves in preparation and followup of budgets and its
variances and reporting costings data for the operations and concerned management information to provide the best basis for decision making to the management team.
Key Result Areas

• The Factory Controller has an key impact on the organization, in that all related
management decisions on the operations level should be supported by the Factory Controller. It is a
specialist role, and there are no subordinates to the Factory Controller.

• The Factory Controller will be coordinating with different stakeholders,



primarily the different
operations departments (production, maintenance, quality, environment, purchasing, logistics, and
warehouse) and respective group reporting controller in charge.

• The geographical coverage for this role is the factory in Cheyyar only, and will work towards
best-practice sharing and benchmarking

Key Responsibilities & Job Content

• VPC – the Factory Controller is responsible to provide management with an accurate view of
the variable production costs in the factory

• PKF – the Factory Controller is responsible to ensure that the PKF (Process Key Figures) are
accurate and is responsible for monitoring and follow up on the effectiveness of the operations, the
quality, environmental issues. The Factory Controller is responsible to point out areas where
potential costs reductions can be achieved to the management.
