Students use HearthAway to secure housing across the UK, Ireland, and France before arrival, allowing them to land with a plan and peace of mind.
Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will contribute to HearthAway’s online presence by planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting posts, creating basic visual content, engaging with followers, monitoring comments and messages, and supporting campaign execution. The intern will assist in tracking performance metrics, researching trends,



and suggesting new ideas to increase reach and engagement among international students. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent collaboration with the marketing team through online tools.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an understanding of key platforms and metrics.
Experience or interest in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing, including planning and scheduling posts.
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt tone for a student audience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and a willingness to learn, experiment, and incorporate feedback.
Familiarity with international student life or study-abroad experiences is a plus.
