Job Title: Engineer, Manufacturing I (Integration)

Reports To: Engineering Manager Integration

Description

Identifying and implementing opportunities for efficient process engineering utilizing data, modeling and applying Industry4.0/ Advanced analytics concepts for improving Yield, Wattage and process control

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or chemistry with at least 3 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing setting
Master’s Degree or PhD degree in engineering, physics or chemistry with at-least one project involving data analytics or Semiconductor Manufacturing. Technical work experience in combination with a degree is preferred.

Required Skills/Competencies

General Skills:

Robust track record of effective problem-solving, and root-cause analysis working with cross functional technical teams
Understanding of manufacturing engineering systems (FMEA, SPC) and structured problem solving methods (such as DMAIC)
Experiencee in standard data science and machine learning packages




Have good understanding of the machine learning model stack (regression, classification, neural networks, time series) and packages (Scikit learn, Xgboost, Keras, Pytorch, Tensorflow, statsmodels)
Working knowledge of Statistical Data Analysis, DOE and experience using any statistical software (Like Minitab, JMP, SAS, Matlab etc
Background education in physics, materials science preferred
Background in solar manufacturing is a plus
Experience in Semiconductor Device Physics is a plus
Excellent oral and written communications skills

Desired Skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience in high volume ramp and/or new tech transfer
Lean Manufacturing knowledge
