Description:
The Background Verification Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end pre-employment screening and background verification activities for candidates across the UK, Europe, and Rest of World (ROW) geographies.
The incumbent will ensure timely completion of background checks, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, vendor governance, and resolution of verification discrepancies while maintaining excellent candidate experience.
The role requires close collaboration with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compliance, Legal, Hiring Managers, and external screening vendors to ensure all hires meet organizational and client-specific onboarding requirements.

Key Responsibilities :
Background Verification Operations
Manage end-to-end background verification process for hires across UK,



Europe, Middle East, APAC, LATAM, and other ROW countries.
Initiate and track verification requests through screening vendors and internal systems. Review completed background reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Analyze discrepancies and coordinate adjudication activities. Ensure closure of all cases within defined SLAs before onboarding.
