Role Description The Medical Coder is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services in accordance with applicable guidelines and payer requirements. Day-to-day tasks include validating medical terminology and documentation,



ensuring coding accuracy for billing and reimbursement, and collaborating with providers or billing staff to clarify records when needed. The Medical Coder will also monitor coding-related regulations, support audits and quality checks, and help maintain compliance with industry standards. The role contributes directly to efficient revenue cycle management and the overall integrity of health information.
Qualifications
Coding proficiency with strong Medical Coding and Coding Experience, including familiarity with common coding systems and payer requirements.
Knowledge of Health Information Management and Medical Terminology to accurately interpret clinical documentation.
Relevant certification such as RHIT or equivalent credential in health information or medical coding is preferred.
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance in all coding activities.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedab
