Role Description The Senior Mining Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar. This role is responsible for leading mine planning activities, optimizing production schedules, and ensuring safe and efficient operations across mining projects. Day-to-day tasks include designing and reviewing mining layouts, overseeing drilling and blasting plans, analyzing geological and production data, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project targets. The Senior Mining Engineer will also develop and implement cost-effective mining methods, ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements, and mentor junior engineers and technical staff. Collaboration with project management, safety, and operations teams is essential to support sustainable, high-performance mining operations.

Qualifications
Strong technical foundation in Mining Engineering, with experience in mine design, operations, and resource extraction.
Proficiency in Mine Planning and scheduling,



including the use of relevant mine planning and modeling software.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting geological data, production metrics, and cost information to drive operational decisions.
Experience in Blacktrap,bauxite,bentonite and silica sand operations, including familiarity with -specific safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mining Engineering or a closely related field.Also, have second class dgms certificate.
Proven experience in a senior or lead engineering role within the mining sector.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices in mining.
Effective communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior staff.
Ability to work on-site in Gandhinagar and adapt to energetic operational requirements.
