Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer-BESS (Renewables) to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting prospect for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

Lead electrical design for BESS and renewable projects (FEED, detailed design,



assurance).
Design the BESS balance of plant (BOP) systems.
Develop grid connection solutions (11kV–400kV) for energy storage and renewables.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions.
Work on large projects and frameworks with renewable energy generation developers, mostly in UK and Ireland but also with some global projects.
Undertake Front End Engineering Design (FEED), design for planning, feasibility studies etc. of energy storage systems including associated grid connections, control and metering.
Support the team with bidding, project and quality management.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Previous experience with consultancy, contractor, equipment manufacturer or electrical utility in the energy sector. Suitable experience as FEED designer, detailed design or owner’s engineer role.
