Role Summary
We are looking for a SDET-2 (Software Development Engineer in Test) with 2–4 years of experience in test automation to strengthen our QA engineering team. As an SDET-2, you will design, implement, and execute automation scripts across web, mobile, and API platforms for both Ecommerce and Health Tech applications. You will work closely with senior SDETs and developers to contribute to frameworks, improve coverage, and enhance the overall quality of Kapiva’s products.



This is a hands-on role where you will build and scale automation while ensuring fast, reliable, and high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents to create comprehensive test cases.
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts across: Web (Cypress/Playwright), Mobile (Appium), APIs (RestAssured, Pytest, Postman/Newman)
Contribute to building and extending test automation frameworks.
Ensure strong automated coverage for Ecommerce flows (checkout, subscriptions, payments, promotions, personalization) and Health Tech flows (consultations, patient journeys, doctor dashboards).
Execute regression, functional, and integration testing, ensuring quality releases.
Debug, identify, and report issues with transparent documentation.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure testability of features.
Maintain and update automation scripts to keep pace with evolving product features.
