EcoMetric is a USA based full service energy consulting firm focusing on energy efficiency, and distributed energy resources including demand response and renewables. We are seeking an Energy Data Scientist with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys working with large datasets, and is passionate about energy efficiency and sustainability. You’ll work closely with senior consultants and clients to analyze utility program data, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights that shape energy policy and program design.

Duties and Responsibilities
Clean, prepare, and integrate energy data from diverse sources for advanced analytics.
Analyze large datasets (e.g., energy consumption, financial, market research) to identify trends and causal impacts.
Develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
Conduct econometric modeling and regression analysis to evaluate energy efficiency programs.
Built and fit hourly regression models to baseline energy consumption data and calculate savings for the performance periods.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure consistency and quality in research methods.
Document findings through visualizations, memos, and client reports.
Support senior staff in developing presentations, white papers, and technical documentation.
