Role Overview

MetLife is seeking experienced Sr Software Engineers to contribute to its digital and AI transformation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native software solutions while working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop applications using up-to-date technologies (Front-end, Back-end, APIs, Databases).
Implement best practices for cloud, AI/Data, and emerging technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Collaborate with global teams to drive digital transformation.
Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Able to lead team & guide team in resolving their technical challenges.
Good in System Design, Architecture Design patters.





Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent
Experience: 10+ years in application software development, cloud-native applications, and APIs
Tech Stack: VB, VB.NET, C# (.NET Core), ASP.NET, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
Languages: Business proficiency in English; Japanese language is a plus.
Other Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
