Primary Skills:
8+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Core Java, Collections, Multithreading).
Solid production experience with Spring Boot, building and maintaining REST services.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka — producer/consumer development, event streaming concepts.
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark
Proven experience designing and operating microservices architectures, including inter-service communication and resilience patterns.
Prior experience working in the Retail domain (catalog, inventory, pricing, orders, offers, or similar systems).
Working knowledge of Kubernetes — deployments, pods, services, and troubleshooting containerized apps.
Exposure to Python and GenAI tools/frameworks (LLM APIs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted engineering workflows).




Strong debugging skills with a proven track record of bug fixing and production support.
Solid understanding of relational/NoSQL databases and SQL query optimization.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Secondary Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP).
Understanding of Apache Spark, and Scala.
Exposure to observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).
Understanding of API Gateway, Service Mesh (Istio), and Helm charts.
Prior experience mentoring engineers and leading small technical initiatives.
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
