✅ Key Requirements
Experience in BIW (Body-in-White) Design of structures such as Upper Body, Under Body, and Front-End Structures.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, stamping requirements, and assembly sequences for BIW and Closures.
Relevant experience in AL-PL Layout, Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept Creation, and Assembly Processes.
Knowledge of Automotive Regulations and Homologation Requirements.
Hands-on expertise in GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for CAD models and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of WERS, GPDS, and DPA 0/1 Assessments in E2KS.
? Key Responsibilities




Develop and support BIW and Body Engineering CAD concepts and solutions.
Drive concept development, value analysis, and innovative design proposals.
Define and implement joining strategies such as Spot Welding, MIG Welding, and other attachment methods.
Ensure compliance with vehicle attributes, quality objectives, cost, weight, timing, and program milestones.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, CAE, Suspension, Powertrain, Exterior, and Interior teams for effective component integration.
Support design validation activities through DFMEA, DVP&R;, GD&T;, and engineering reviews.
Ensure design feasibility, assembly requirements, and manufacturing compatibility throughout the product development cycle.
