Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commis Chef role based in Mumbai. The Commis Chef will support the kitchen team in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in line with Passion F&B;’s standards and recipes. Daily responsibilities include assisting in mise en place, maintaining hygiene and food safety, operating kitchen equipment correctly, and following guidance from senior chefs.



The role involves timely preparation of menu items, proper storage and rotation of ingredients, and contributing to a clean, organized workstation. The Commis Chef will collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent quality, smooth service, and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Strong basic culinary skills, including knife handling, preparation of ingredients, and execution of recipes.
Knowledge of Indian cuisine, flavors, and cooking techniques, with an interest in contemporary and innovative food.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and coordinate with a team during busy service.
Attention to detail, consistency in plating and presentation, and commitment to quality.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
