Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial accounting, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing financial statements.



The role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flows, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. The Accountant will also assist with tax computations, statutory compliances, audits, and internal controls, while preparing reports and analyses to support management decision-making. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners, such as auditors and financial institutions, is required to ensure high standards of financial integrity and compliance.
Qualifications
Robust foundational accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, cash flow tracking, and expense management.
Knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances, GST, TDS, and audit support procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software
