Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to oversee secured credit operations. This role involves managing the entire credit lifecycle for secured loans, from assessment and approval to monitoring and recovery, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement secured credit policies, procedures, and strategies in line with business objectives and risk appetite.
Conduct thorough credit analysis of secured loan applications, including evaluating collateral, financial statements, and borrower creditworthiness.
Make informed credit decisions within delegated authority limits and present complex cases to senior management or credit committees.
Manage a portfolio of secured credit accounts, monitoring performance, identifying potential risks, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Oversee the valuation and perfection of collateral, ensuring all legal and administrative requirements are met.
Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts,



providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to streamline the secured lending process and enhance customer experience.
Ensure compliance with all relevant credit regulations, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance, risk exposure, and other key metrics for management review.
Participate in the development and enhancement of credit risk management tools and systems.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in credit management, with a robust focus on secured lending within the financial services industry.
Proven expertise in various types of secured credit products (e.g., real estate, equipment, inventory).
