Utilyn hiring Business Development Intern for Furniture division. We are an early stage startup aimed at easing home interiors sourcing for everyone. We work with homeowners and interior designers to help them cut down the operational hassle of exploring, shortlisting and comparing multiple vendors for their requirements by consulting and mapping them to a few suitable merchants who are highly relevant for the same.
ROLE 1 - Sales Intern
About Role You will drive vendor acquisition across furniture manufacturers, interior designers, and decor brands, acting as the primary revenue driver for Utilyn's supplier ecosystem.
Responsibility
Prospect, evaluate, and qualify inbound and outbound B2B vendor leads.
Conduct high-conversion discovery calls, product walkthroughs, and pitch presentations.
Negotiate terms, close deals, and onboard vendors onto the platform.
Maintain a structured CRM pipeline and provide feedback to product and growth teams.
What We Are Looking For
Proven track record in B2B inside sales, vendor onboarding, or client acquisition.
Exceptional spoken and written communication, active listening, and objection-handling skills.
Target-driven mindset with strong pipeline discipline and self-accountability.
Prior experience or solid interest in the interior design, furniture, or home improvement industry is a plus.
ROLE 2 - Business Development Intern
About Role You will be the bridge between homeowners seeking custom furniture/interior solutions and the right verified manufacturers, ensuring a seamless matchmaking and conversion experience.
Responsibility
Connect with inbound B2C homeowner leads to assess requirements, budgets, and timelines.
Match and route qualified buyers to the most relevant furniture manufacturers and interior partners.
Follow up across the conversion funnel to resolve client queries and ensure smooth fulfillment.
