What you'll actually do
- Test every user-facing flow on all products. UI/UX testing, layout on
different screens, form validation, edge cases, dashboards,
onboarding, checkout, licence flows. If a button is confusing
or a page loads slow, you catch it before a customer does.
- Test the product logic from a user's perspective — does a bundle
actually apply the discount,



does a scan actually flag the right
finding, does an invoice actually get generated. Not writing
internal unit tests — that's the engineers' job. You test what
a real customer would experience.
- Run every Crisp chat inbox we have. Reply to product questions,
bug reports, refund requests, licence-key issues, "how do I do
X" questions. Escalate the hard ones to the founder team. Turn
every recurring question into a docs entry so it doesn't come
back.
- Own the bug tracker. Every issue reported by a customer or
found in your own testing gets triaged, reproduced, prioritised,
and closed once fixed. You are the person who makes sure nothing
drops through the cracks.
- Write short, honest test reports the team reads on Monday. What
you tested, what broke, what customers asked about most.
