The RTR Accountant at Molex is responsible for executing end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (RTR) activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal policies, and adherence to US GAAP/IFRS standards. This role supports global finance operations by delivering high‑quality accounting outcomes, maintaining strong internal controls, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Our Team

The Record‑to‑Report team at Molex supports global finance operations by ensuring timely and accurate financial close, reporting, and compliance. The team partners closely with OTC, PTP, and business stakeholders to maintain data integrity and enable informed decision‑making across the organization.

What You Will Do

Maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and related transactions.
Perform month‑end close activities independently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, clear open items on a timely basis,



and follow up on unreconciled items with stakeholders.
Monitor and perform periodic control checks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with internal control requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries, discrepancies, and process issues.
Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Apply robust analytical and critical‑thinking skills using a “Stop, Think, and Ask” approach across RTR activities.
Demonstrate conceptual understanding of end‑to‑end RTR processes, month‑end close, systems, and best practices.
Perform complex reconciliations and analyze exceptions, providing recommendations and guidance for resolution.
Execute regular, complex, or exceptional month‑end and year‑end close activities, supporting overall team delivery.
Conduct variance analysis on a periodic basis and ensure accuracy through analysis and follow‑ups.
